The original Cash Ca¢he was a solo proprietorship in Tok, Alaska. It was a simple check cashing service. It was successful and provided the funds for me to start a taxi. Local pay, dividend, and other checks were cashed that could not be served by the credit union. This resulted in increased revenue to local businesses. It was active in 2012 and 2013. I am considering and researching the viability of resurrecting the Cash Ca¢he to serve Alaska as our now global system of finance has become one if dynamic change.
